In 2012 the coalition government introduced The Welfare Reform Act 2012, making changes to the rules concerning how benefits are offered within the British social security system. The Act created new and unprecedented challenges for UK Housing Associations and their tenants to adapt to a wide range of requirements, process changes, culture and legislation.

Commissioned by the DWP to provide relationship and project management support for Housing Associations taking part in a national welfare reform demonstration project between 2012 and 2014, outstanding performance targets were achieved, service delivery transformed, and critical knowledge and data was obtained which subsequently influenced the design of government policy. Project Management services were provided, including complete responsibility for governance, risk mitigation, finance control, stakeholder communications and quality assurance.
